Nata Yoga

Out of the 108 karanas only thirty-six are suitable for the yogangasadhana. These thirty-six karanas are taught for the learning of their correct sequential arrangement (angahara). This is used for the unveiling of the latent power within, that takes place from the coiling and uncoiling stress points (bindu) within each karana from where the energy is slowly driven through the rhythmic arrangements of the angahara to the point of the critical stage that is responsible for the unveiling process (kriya) of the internal energy (kundalini) with all its force (shakti). This requires a high level of skill and the presence of the unfailing awakened power of discriminative consciousness.

The complete practice of inversions with zhander
Since the practice of Inversions should only be done prior to first light at dawn preceding the practice of pranayama for receiving its full benefits. There is a proper sequential order of asanas that leeds into the application of sarvangasana and sirsasana and their variations with a process of exit that continues into pranayama. This course is only for those students that have achieved some proficiency in the practice of sarvangasana and sirsasana.

June 24 - July 3
The full Nata yoga form with emma
Within the thirty-six karanas that are suitable for yoganga sadhana there are eight karanas that are referred to as "Ashta-karatala Matrika" (the eight mother palms) from which all other possible variations are developed.
These eight mother palms can also be held for longer periods of time as full bodily mudras for the development of the internal power system and act as preludes for the five groups of bandhas and mudras of Hatha yoga. Without the knowledge of these five groups of mudras there are very little benefits and there is no progress towards the internal processes of meditation.
Out of the five groups three act upon the physical or gross body while the remaining two groups work on the construction of the linga sarira or subtle body. The first group is Bandhatriyam or mula, uddiyana and jalandhara bandhas. These are learnt in different seated positions by isolating the region of the body that the bandha acts upon. Without the bandhas, mudra work is not possible.
The second group; the Mahamudra consists of three component practices.
The third group; the Bandhamudra also consist of three component practices.
The fourth group; Khecharimudra consists of six component practices.
The fifth group; Shakticalanamudra also consists of six component practices.
These practices are learnt in stages over a period of twelve years. Their mastery requires patience with undivided attention and persistence. This course is open for all since only the Karanas will be taught during this course.
